David and his wife Sun-Min Kim are the creators and founders of Uglydoll, a lifestyle character brand which started as a series of plush toys in 2002.

David is also the creator of Bossy Bear, a series of picture books, best selling toys, and an animated TV show produced with Ron Howard’s Imagine Entertainment and Nickelodeon.

Sun-Min + David are the creators of “Littlebony” animations broadcast on NHK, produced by Sony Creative in Japan, and UVERchan, the mascot of J-pop sensation, UVERworld - featured on their first album and singles.

Sun-Min + David’s art, books, and millions of self produced products have been found everywhere from the MoMA stores in New York and LOFT in Tokyo to boutiques in Paris and Seoul.

デイビッドはまた、「ボッシーベア（Bossy Bear）」の原作者でもあり、絵本シリーズやベストセラー玩具、そしてロン・ハワード率いるイマジン・エンターテインメントおよびニコロデオンと共同制作したアニメ番組の生みの親です。

サン・ミンとデイビッドは、NHKで放送されたアニメーション「リトルボニー」、ソニー・クリエイティブプロダクツ制作による日本での展開、そしてJ-POPバンドUVERworldのマスコット「UVERちゃん」のクリエイターでもあります。UVERちゃんは同バンドのデビューアルバムおよびシングルにも登場しました。
